Yesterday I turned 22!!!! But just because it isn't the 26th anymore doesn't mean I'm done celebrating. As a matter of fact I still say it's my birthday!

You see I was born in California and my time of birth out there is 11:47pm but for the rest of the world it was already August 27th! So I'm calling August 27th as my second birthday. And I do not care if it doesn't work that way because I'm still going to do it!

Anyway, for my actual birthday Bear took me out to Applebee's because I wanted to go there to celebrate. The big reason I wanted to go is because I really wanted their country fried steak. BUT THEN we sit down to look at the menu and I see they DON'T HAVE IT ANYMORE (cue me being big sad). I ordered a different chicken plate that also had mashed potatoes. I ate the shrimp it came with then traded my chicken for Bear's mashed potatoes, LOL. What can I say? I like mashed potatoes.

After we ate we walked over to the Walmart and got a cheesecake and some candles. We didn't light the candles until after we got up tonight and I ate 2 slices of chocolate cheesecake. It was so good!

I woke up too late to call my dad so I'll have to do it tonight but all in all I had a really good actual birthday. Let's hope my second birthday is just as good.

I just saw a TikTok where a creator basically said trigger warnings on videos are unnecessary. And, obviously, I posted my own reply. Because as someone with a disability that could be triggered by certain aspects of a video, trigger warnings should not be take lightly and treated as if they are unimportant.

Trigger warnings are used anywhere that certain medical, emotional, etc. conditions could be triggered (such as flash warnings for individuals with photosensitivity). Items that may include trigger warnings are content for social media, tv shows and movies, amusement/theme park rides, and more. Trigger warnings are also not only used for those with disabilities but also those with certain phobias, such as arachnophobia.

It's very disheartening to see other content creators treat things such as trigger warnings as unimportant and unnecessary. Their unwillingness to use trigger warnings is making their content inaccessible and potentially dangerous to those with disabilities.

As content creators we owe it to our followers, to our fans, to make our content as accessible as possible. And in order to do that we must use trigger warnings when needed.

I hope that creator, as well as others that think this way, see my video and that they change their way of thinking and see just how necessary and important trigger warnings actually are!

What is with guys, particularly older guys, that when they say a younger female it means they can talk to her as if she is a baby or a puppy?

I got on Wireclub and got a message from a guy sayin, "awwwwww! you're so cute!" Like, gross! I am not a baby nor am I puppy. I'm turning 22 YEARS old NOT 22 months. It's just so disgusting!

Why do people get pissed when a couple decides to have a child free wedding? Like it's not your wedding so why are you so pissed?

I just watched a TikTok where someone's crotch goblin decided to dig into the wedding cake before it was time. And there were people in the comments that were shocked that people were not okay with this. They were trying to say "It'S jUsT cAkE! WhY sO aNgRy? DoN't Be AnGrY." Like fuck that noise! A small birthday cake you can get at Walmart for 20 bucks is just a cake. A $500+ WEDDING CAKE IS NOT! There are couples that had to save up all their money to get that cake and then it was ruined by someone's spawn?! That is so not okay!

The first people to take a bite from the cake are the couple getting married, NOT your snot covered gremlin!

The way I see it if you're gonna bring your hell spawn to a wedding you better have the money for any damage they cause, that includes damage to the cake. So if you don't want to pay for your little terrors destruction, don't bring them!

Aaaah. Finally, I'm back on vacation! It's not just any old vacation, it's my birthday-cation! Yep, next Saturday is my 22nd birthday! For 9 days I get to sit at home, watch shows, get on social media and hang out with my beloved pets and my fiance! Yep, Bear is on vacation, too!

Although, I do have a slight problem. I don't know what to do for my birthday! Of course I want a cake and it is too late to plan a party, but beyond that I don't know what to do! I want to check out the pool my apartment complex has (Bear and I have been here for over a year and we STILL haven't been able to take a dip) but Bear's pneumonia came back AGAIN and I don't know if he'll be well enough to go to pool next Saturday! We could also play a video game together. We used to play Crash Bandicoot on his PlayStation but we got frustrated with one of the levels and stopped! We also used to play Monster Hunter Rise on our Switches but for some reason we stopped playing that, as well.

Not to mention, the state I was born in and the state I live in are in two different time zones! Let me explain. So I was born and raised in California which is Pacific Time but I know live in Utah which is Mountain Time. Utah is an hour ahead of California. What does that have to do with my birthday? Hold your horses and I'll tell ya. I was born August 26th, 2001 at 11:47pm PST but in Mountain time it was 12:47AM ON AUGUST 27TH! Does that mean I get a double birthday or no?! What should I do?! Ya only turn 22 once and I wanna enjoy this time before I get into my mid-20s and later on my 30s (assuming I live that long)... I haven't really celebrated my birthday until I moved in with Bear and the only party I had was for my 20th. I couldn't have one last year because Bear got sick. I just don't know what to do! What do people do for the 22nd birthdays other than drink and party? I say "other than drink" because my brain and body will not let me have more than one beer (and my drinks of choice are Smirnoff Ice Watermelon Mimosa or Strawberry Daquiri). Ugh, I'll figure out my birthday later since I still have a week.

Anyway, in work news my shitty GM is FINALLY LEAVING! CAN I GET A HELL YEAH! The GM at my job is so bad at his job. He micro manages everyone, overworks his assistant managers, and does some rather illegal things. What illegal things you may ask. Let me tell ya! Last year we worked a full shift two nights before Thanksgiving. Legally employers need to allow 8 hours of rest between shifts (with the exception of doubles) but the GM made it so that we were schedule to come back in 4 HOURS AFTER WE GOT OFF! And even if that were legal, for someone with epilepsy working the job I do that can end up really bad. I need at least 7 hours of sleep or else I could have seizure. Not only that, but if I remember correctly we were scheduled to get off at 12am but he kept giving us more and more work so we didn't get off until 3AM! I'm fairly certain all of us that night had plans to visit family for the holiday. Bear and I had to go from one city to another to see his family for Thanksgiving!

Either way, we're getting a new manager when Bear and I return to work. Hopefully they aren't as shitty as our old GM.

Now onto noisy neighbors. For the past THREE HOURS one of my neighbors in the houses near my apartment complex have been playing loud music! Bear and I think it's some kids that just picked up some instruments, started a shitty band and only know how to play one song. Again, they've been playing the same fucking song for three. fucking! HOURS!

Sorry, everyone. I know I've been gone for a while, I've been compiling lists of small businesses for my social media and YouTube and making my first video. Anyway, a lot has happened since I've been gone so let's chat.

For starters, One Cart was fired last week after ANOTHER no call, no show. Like, how many times do I have to say it? If you can't make it into work CALL IN! Let the manager know! I have been stuck to 5+ HOURS of work BY MYSELF because this guy couldn't be bothered to show up to work or call my boss to let him know! I'm so glad he's gone. Bear liked him and is kinda sad he's gone but, and I'm sorry, I just CANNOT feel bad for someone that has as shitty work ethic as this dude has that it brings ME down with them! I just can't.

Anyway, speaking of Bear I had to have him SUPER GLUE MY FINGER SHUT! So, I was making dinner Tuesday morning (in case you don't remember, I work overnights so a normal person's morning is my evening) and I was cutting open one of the bags of frozen tortellini the knife not only sliced through the bag but also MY FUCKING FINGER! It cut SO DEEP blood was SPILLING from my finger! So Bear super glued it shut. And then, when I got into work last night and took off my band aid to change it (I change it twice a day: once when I get into work and again when I get home) a part of the band aid was ON THE SUPER GLUE and RIPPED IT OFF! Bear didn't bring the super glue to get it shut again so I just had to BLEED INTO A BAND AID ALL NIGHT! It sucked!

In other good news, I entered my very first giveaway. My favorite TikToker, Granny Bat, was hosting a giveaway for all her followers. The prize was a pair of a REALLY NICE bat wall decor. Five names were drawn from her husband's, Grandaddy Bat, hat and I WAS THE SECOND WINNER! I also get a mystery prize! I was so happy I actually won I ran and told Bear. My prizes are supposed to get shipped out Monday and I'll also get my tracking from her then. This is the absolute BEST early birthday present EVER (my birthday is 3 weeks from today)! I love Granny Bat's videos! Her rambling is so nice to listen to. I'm glad she's posting her popular series, Hanging w/ Granny Bat, on YouTube so I can listen to her while I work. She'll also be announcing her future giveaways through those videos. And you can bet your ASS I'm entering!
